Monday Mornin' and Gertrude

Now I have for sometime been keeping up with the adventures of Gertrude and DaddyP's dilemma on where to find her a good home. Well, I have searched and searched and I think I have a solution. Please DaddyP I would like for you to meet Horace. Now as you can see she is quite striking in stature and as she knows the truth about llamas ruling the world one day then surely she must be intelligent enough for Gertrude. However, I am not sure exactly where Horace resides. But, it does look like a lovely spot. Although this could be among the wine country of France. Now I know Slyvie is also helping in this area, so perhaps, Horace and Gertrude could meet and reside in La Rochelle. I know Gertrude is fond of teddy bears so I have arranged for him to take one with him.

And I really do think to get him off on the right foot, so to speak, unless he is a left footed llama, which still makes no difference, I think he should also have some roses for Horace. Now I found some lovely blue roses that match Gertrude's Teddy bear perfectly and I just know that Horace will not be able to resist his cunning style and wit, especially when you add in the romantic factor. Of course everyone should be aware that all llamas are very romantic and loving anyway. But, I didn't want Gertrude to forget as males tend to do sometime so I got the roses for him.

Just something tasteful and not overstated after all Gertrude is British and much more reserved than French llamas. So I tried to keep that in mind as I was shopping. But I do think Horace will be very impressed with Gertrude with these special gifts. I truly believe I have found Gertrude's soul mate and that we should work really hard to get them together. But, as I am almost positive that she lives in France we will have to depend on Slyvie to help locate her.
Gertrude and Horace
Long may they reign together in everlasting bliss.

Well, Gertrude was quite smitten with the photograph of Horace.
The first step should be that Horace and Gertrude better go to evening classes to brush up on their French.
In the mean time I'll contact Sylvie, if she's still talking to me, to see what arrangements can be made in the La Rochelle region.
There might be a small delay as I want to exploit one of Gertrude's better skills - I'll be dropping a hint sometime.
Does Horace have any nasty habits? I'm sure she doesn't but I have to ask.
Your concern is heart warming - thank you

Well now DaddyP I have to tell you that she is French....so sometimes she does like to tip the wine bottle bottle just a wee bit too much. But, I feel Gertrude is strong enough to take deal with that issue and it might be due to loniliness also. And, she can be a little high strung and sensitive at times...but, she usually settles right back down and all and all has a lovely personality. Your welcome....I just couldn't resisit....I love Gertrude:)Jackie
