To All The Sweet Taters
Some people never seem motivated to participate, but
are just content to watch while others do the work.
They are called "Spec Taters".
Some people never do anything to help but are gifted
at finding fault with the way others do work.
They are called "Comment Taters".
Some people are very bossy and like to tell others what
to do, but don't want to soil their own hands.
They are called "Dick Taters".
Some people are always looking to cause problems by
asking others to agree with them. It is too hot or
too cold, too sour or too sweet.
They are called "Agie Taters".
There are those who say they will help, but somehow
just never get around to actually doing the promised help.
They are called "Hezzie Taters".
Some people can put up a front and pretend to be
someone they are not.
They are called "Emma Taters"
Then there are those who love others and do what they
say they will. They are always preprared to stop whatever
they are doing and lend a helping hand. They bring real
sunshine into the lives of others.
They are called "Sweet Taters"

Sharing some linky Love with just a few of my "Sweet Taters".
Now I know many of you already know each other but others may not. And, I have recently made new friends who are just starting up and I wanted to share them with you as well.
Oh yes and a chicken for Eric's Chicken Tuesday.
My apologies to all that the list went out unfinished. It seems that my service provider decided to do updates exactly when I was working on this list. Of course in a state of sheer panic I tried eveything that told me to do via a recording. And, well let's just say nothing worked. So I called and called and hung on the phone for what seemed like a lifetime only to find out they would not be done upgraded until this morning. And, such is life in this redneck girl's in Soonerville USA.

Oh Jessee it is now. But, just as I was working and editing on this post my service provider decided that they would do site maintenance. And we were all shut down until this morning.
So I just now actually got the list completed and posted correctly.
Only 4 hours sleep...but, yes now things are okay on my side...I think..LOL:)
Oh judy thank you ...I may never do this again though...LOL!! I simply couldn't believe that I lost my service right in the middle of everything. I am sure I willlaugh about it someday. But for now I am simply sleepy and grumpy..LOL!!

That's about the cutest little tater story I ever heard!
'Cept for this one:
Once upon a time....
Girl Potato and Boy Potato
had eyes for each other, and finally they got married, and had a little sweet potato,
which they called 'Yam.'
Of course, they wanted the best for Yam. When it was time, they told her about the facts of life.
They warned her about going out
and getting half-baked, so she wouldn't get accidentally mashed, and get a bad name for herself like 'Hot Potato' - and end up with a bunch of Tater Tots.
Yam said not to worry, no Spud would get her into the sack and make a rotten potato out of her!
But on the other hand she wouldn't stay home and become a Couch Potato either.
She would get plenty of exercise
so as not to be skinny like her Shoestring cousins.
When she went off to Europe, Mr. and Mrs. Potato told Yam to watch out for the hard-boiled guys from Ireland. And the greasy guys from France called the French Fries. And when she went out west, to watch out for the Indians so she wouldn't get scalloped.
Yam said she would stay on
the straight and narrow and wouldn't associate with those high class Yukon Golds, or the ones from the other side of the tracks
who advertise their trade on all the trucks that say,'Frito Lay.'
Mr. and Mrs. Potato sent Yam to Idaho P.U.(that's Potato University) so that when she graduated she'd really be in the Chips.
But in spite of all they did for her, one-day Yam came home and announced she was going to marry Dan Rather.
Dan Rather! Mr. and Mrs. Potato were very upset.
They told Yam she couldn't possibly marry Dan Rather
because he's just.......

Thanks for bringing some light hearted merriment and fun into the world.
Today is a sad day, Heath Ledger just died, and I just realized that I never once watched any of his movies.
His turn as the villain Joker in the Batman sequel will be my first experience of this talented but tragic actor.
His daughter is only 2, so sad that she will have to grow up never knowing her father.

I read about it on Yahoo. Also my daughter phoned me. She is a big fan of his.
I have seen a few of his movies but not many.
And yes it is sad for his little girl. But, the saddest thing of all is that his death is drug related.
Oh if he had only cared enough about himself and his little girl....he would still be with all of us.
Drug abuse is a sad,sad thing.

I just want to say they only think Heath Ledger's death was caused by drugs. He was taking prescription sleeping pills but it is widely known that he was a very low key, stay home guy who was seen constantly with his daughter. I'm pretty sure he cared about her:)
