Week End Snapshot #2 - Peace

And suddenly I turned
To see this lovely bloom
A bloom that not only has endured
Many cold nights and cool early mornings
But has burst forth in grandest style
Though it may pale in color to the red rose
And colors of others that shine more bright
Cast forth such sweeter smells
It is the rose of peace
I did find staring up to the heavens
Delicate senses so sweetly adorned
As if to say don't be forlorn
My blooms have not been completely cast
My time is not yet past
And It remains here as witness
In fierce determination
Lacking all procrastination
And then I heard a silent whisper in my soul
"It shall come again my friend"
"It shall come again my friend."
