hi jackie!

that is an excellent shot! i love how it is so clear on the bird and blurry on the background! Looks like you've been mastering on this skill! Great job! :)

That is a beautiful bird. All we get are doves and sparrows, with the occasional gold finch. Oh well, Koko still enjoys watching.

You have made my morning. This is the first time that I have seen a blue jay - I can't believe how beautiful and vivid its colours are.

I do like your little feeder too - I'm showing this one to my husband and son in the home of getting one of them busy with the hammer and nails. Do you think I'm in with a chance - may be as an extra little Christmas present?

It's a little bleak here over the ocean - so its nice to see some lovely weather from you!

The photo of the blue jay is awesome. Blue Jays are truly beautiful birds with all that blue coloring. Was that photo taken in your backyard?

Oh Jackie, this is just so beautiful it almost made me teary eyed. You are such a stunning photographer. I believe that photography is one of the most stunning art forms, because it takes an eye with heart, and a pure soul, to see all of the beauty in the natural world and also, at times, the mundane. I honor your work so highly, believe it is a true act of compassionate, loving energy toward the world, and I love you lots and lots. Here's a big hug honey....

What a fantastic picture. My wife is an avid bird watcher and loves all the little feathery things. Every year a family of birds make their nest near the roof top of the house next door directly across from our upstairs bathroom window. So my wife quietly keeps an eye on their growth and nurturing until the babies fly away on their own. I'm sure she would love you little blue friend.

Great post.

Happy trails.
